Il Prof. Di Franco è un Cardiologo di fama Internazionale, specializzato in Ecocardiografia e Imaging Cardiovascolare Avanzato. Autore di più di 100 pubblicazioni su riviste a elevato Impact Factor, è Fellow dell'American College of Cardiology e Fellow della Società Italian di Cardiologia.
Adj. Asst. Professor of Medicine presso il Cardiothoracic Surgery Dept. della Weill Cornell University a New York, svolge anche attività clinica in Italia presso lo Studio Cardiologico Di Franco.
Dr Di Franco graduated with honours from the prestigious “Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore” in Rome where he also completed his Cardiology Fellowship.
In 2016 he moved to New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell University (New York, USA) for a Research Fellowship in Cardiac Surgery. He was then appointed Post-Doc Associate in Medicine and completed a further Fellowship in Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging in the Cardiology Dept.
In July 2019, Dr Di Franco has been appointed Adj. Asst. Professor of Medicine in the Cardiothoracic Surgery Dept. of Weill Cornell University (New York, USA).
Starting from 2017, Dr Di Franco regularly sees patients in his Private Practice Office based in Italy.
Dr Di Franco has authored/co-authored more than 80 scientific publications in very high-impact Journals (e. g. : New England Journal of Medicine, JACC, Circulation) and is the recipient of several scientific awards, including:

In December 2019, he has been appointed 'Fellow of the Italian Society of Cardiology' (scientific track).
In May 2021, he was elected FACC (Fellow of the American College of Cardiology).
